
WHO WE ARE
Bathopele NGO is a registered non-profit organization based in Kimberley, in the Northern Cape of South Africa. Founded in 2010 and formally registered with the Department of Social Development in 2014 under NPO Registration No. 144-589, the organization is dedicated to advancing human rights, gender equality, and community resilience for vulnerable and marginalized groups.
Bathopele works across the Frances Baard District and nearby rural communities, supporting women, young people, people living with HIV, LGBTQI+ individuals, persons with disabilities, and survivors of gender-based violence.

To build a just, safe, and inclusive society where everyone can live with dignity, equality, and access to opportunity.
MISSION
To advance human rights, gender equality, and social justice through community-driven programs that address gender-based violence, HIV and TB, mental health, youth empowerment, and economic resilience in underserved communities.
